Corona Virus Advisory and Chiropractic Emergency Care at The Health Connection in Tacoma, WA

At The Health Connection, complete precautions are being taken as per CDC guidelines, Washington State Chiropractic Association guidelines and American Chiropractic association guidelines. Please review our policies in detail. Call us with any questions or to book an appointment.

We require all patients and staff to wear a mask while in our office. Upon your arrival, you will need to complete a questionnaire regarding COVID symptoms, testing, and vaccination. You will bring this to the front desk, where we will review the answers to ensure you are not experiencing any symptoms or have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive, and we will take your temperature. Once you have been cleared, you may check-in for your appointment. We will either direct you back to your appointment, or you will be asked to wait in the lobby. We have limited seating in our office to follow social distancing guidelines, and you may be asked to stay in the seating provided in the hall if the lobby is full.

Chiropractic: Each table is thoroughly cleaned between every patient, and new face paper is put on the table once cleaned. We clean all touchable surfaces between each patient as well.

Massage & Acupuncture: We have adjusted our appointment times to add an additional 10 minutes to allow for proper sanitization between each patient. All table linens are removed, the table and all touchable surfaces are cleaned, and fresh linens are placed on the table between every patient.

We have hired multiple staff members dedicated to keeping our office a clean and safe place for our patients and our staff. Their sole responsibility is to assist providers in removing table linens, cleaning tables and all touchable surfaces in each room, putting on clean table linens, sanitizing all pens, clipboards, door handles, chairs, etc.
